Removable-reusable insulation is used widely in the petrochemical industry and smaller commercial locations as a better choice than traditional permanent insulation. It is especially valuable in covering hot or cold systems that require access for inspections or frequent maintenance. What is Removable-Reusable Insulation?

Often called insulation “blankets” or “shapes.”

Custom-designed to insulate a specific hardware shape.

Multiple pieces are combined by lacing Velcro:tm: or other fasteners to create a complete insulated system.

The insulation consists of inner and outer skin or coated fiberglass with an inner core of flexible insulating material.

The thickness of the removable-replaceable insulation varies depending on the temperature of the system to be insulated.

GreenShield is a patented monolithic foundation system combining both the equipment mounting surface and traditional concrete pad into one integrated design. Made from corrosion-resistant Zanite Plus polymer concrete, each foundation is cast with rugged walls containing internal reinforcements to eliminate common stress cracking. Precision mounting surfaces, along with integrated PoxyVials and optional CenterMark laser aids to speed up and ensure proper installation. Typical installations are completed in 1-day and save considerable time and money over designs requiring any level of field concrete work. Outstanding vibration-damping characteristics provide longer life for rotating equipment and lower foundation maintenance requirements. Greenshield installations have a 5-year guarantee.
